Italian Night

We interrupt my well planned week of posts for a REAL life story:

Last night we had absolutely nothing on the calendar.

Nothing.

As in NO THING on the calendar.

It was glorious.

Throw in a beautiful day weather-wise and I was nearly blissful.

I made spaghetti for dinner. We set the table and prepared for a lovely evening of dining as a family.

I even played the traditional Italian music.

We had lovely conversation.

The twins didn't whine during the meal...nor did they actually eat anything but who cares?

No body made fart or poop jokes at the table.

Lovely.

Until...

(you know it couldn't end there, right? This is MY blog after all, not some fairy tale)

my husband thought he would be ALL clever and pretend to feed Noah some baby food while Noah was being silly and for some reason had his eyes closed and his mouth wide open.

Noah then for some reason lurched forward and ACTUALLY got some of the baby food on his teeth.

Which then made him gag.

Which then made him PUKE ALL OVER MY TABLE.

Which then made ETHAN PUKE.

Which then resulted in the twins politely asking to be excused and leaving the table while Justin and Elijah ran for the hills.

And thus, Italian night was over.

AHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!

That is, by far, the funniest story I've heard in a loooong time!

So not fun for you or for really anyone in the family except maybe Judah (who probably thought it was all funny). But only a mom of 7 has these kinds of stories.

Love you.

it's like that scene in stand by me. At the pie eating contest. We had a puking incident at our table too. My 2yo puked on his plate but my 4 yo just looked over and said Caidens throwing up and took another big bite of his food.
